Carriage House Addition

A carriage house–style garage addition was added to an existing home, providing both needed parking and increased privacy for the rear pool and patio from the street. A small addition to the house accommodates a decompressed laundry room, mudroom, and powder room, enhancing functionality for the family’s daily routines.

The renovation also includes a new roof over the existing rear deck and an outdoor kitchen that engages the rear yard and pool, supporting the family’s outdoor lifestyle. Both the addition and the new garage were designed to complement the home’s architectural style, while the existing garage was enhanced with a new cupola, garage doors, and pent roof to match the new carriage house. A private side gate and screen wall connect the new garage to the existing house and garage, creating an intimate side entry to the home and rear pool area from the existing parking area.
